TK Maxx Flagship Store, Munich

The TK Maxx flagship in Munich, which is now the largest TK Maxx store in Europe, features an impressive 52.5sqm video wall display standing 10-metres tall, spanning over 4 floors behind the open stairwell in the main atrium. Designed to engage and inspire in-store shoppers, the large-format display is powered by SignStix®’s cloud-based content management system, allowing TK Maxx to manage, schedule and deploy content to any device.

The new installation provides TK Maxx with the ability to effortlessly takeover all video wall content in real-time or schedule seasonal and promotional campaigns ahead of time.

The store also features four smaller SignStix®-powered video wall displays, three of which are located above till points, designed to engage shoppers whilst they queue.

We have a number of diverse delivery mechanisms that puts SignStix® at the core of any retailer’s digital ambition. The Munich store is a great example of what can be achieved with the SignStix® platform.”

Digital signage with Queue Management technology

SignStix® is also working with TK Maxx to deliver a range of digital touchpoints across a number of UK stores, in addition to TK Maxx Stuttgart, comprising of in-store screens and window signage. SignStix® also powered a number of video wall displays strategically placed above the till areas, integrated with Qmatic call forwarding systems to deliver till availability information in real-time. The project involved sourcing, procurement and installation of digital signage screens, along with the configuration of SignStix® Players, which are connected to each screen via the cloud using a reliable and secure in-store mobile network.

The new digital environment allows for dynamic content updates; Using Qmatic integration, the Slough store features a 3-screen video wall at the till point to display till availability information in real-time.

A two-screen video wall placed near the staircase was re-configured to utilise SignStix®, allowing the store to make agile content updates via the cloud.

Engaging window signage to increase footfall

To take full advantage of its shopping centre location, the Slough store boasts ultra-high-definition window signage which been strategically positioned near the store's entrance to drive footfall and purchase decisions.
